SACSN High School Art Awards & Exhibition
Exhibition Date: March 30, 2026 (Online Opening & Awards Announcement)
Access: Online via weblink (phone, tablet, or computer)
Submission Deadline: February 28, 2026
Entry Donation:
A $10 submission contribution directly supports the scholarship prize pool. 100% of all contributions, program fundraising, and benefactor support go directly into the student scholarship prize pool. Donation waivers are available for students with financial need.
Prizes:
College scholarships awarded from the growing prize pool.
Prize pool is built entirely from program donations, student contributions, and benefactors.
Winners announced during the exhibition opening.
How It Works:
High school students are invited to submit their best work in Visual Arts or Music for a chance to be featured in our online exhibition and compete for scholarships.
Community Service: All participants receive documented community service hours recognizing the program’s charitable impact.
Up to 150 pieces will be selected for the online exhibition.
A panel of art and music professionals will choose the finalists and scholarship winners.
The prize pool continues to grow through benefactors, submissions, and community donations.
How to Submit:

Enter your name, school, graduation year, and contact details
Page 2: Submission Category
Select the category you are entering and upload your file
Visual Art: JPEG or PNG, max 100 MB
Music: MP3 or MP4 Video, max 100 MB
Wearable Art: Sketches/illustrations (submitted as JPG/PNG). Photos of finished garments/pieces (JPG/PNG). MP4 video (runway-style presentation) max 100MB.
Film & Video Short: Formats accepted: Short film, video art, performance reel, animation. MP4 video max 100MB.
3D Art: Upload one image (additional images may be requested) Max 100MB.
Page 3: About the Work
Provide a brief description of your submission: Visual art include materials, dimensions, artist statement. Music include lyrics, credits, band members, bio etc. Fashion include inspiration, concept, materials, technique. Film & video shorts include concept, story, inspiration, process, techniques, intended impact. (recommended length up to 2 mins.)

Complete the student waiver and obtain parent or guardian signature
Page 5: Payment
$10 per entry supporting the scholarship prize pool.
Waivers are available to ensure no student is left behind due to financial hardship. Students at Title I schools are also eligible for a full donation waiver.
Submit your form and you will receive a confirmation email when your entry is received.
Who Can Enter:
Any high school student (public, private, charter, or home school) with an expected graduation year between 2026 and 2029
Submission Contribution: $10 per entry (supports the scholarship prize pool). Waivers available upon request
Make It Count: Each submission equals one piece. This is not a portfolio review — submit the work you are most passionate about. Additional entries in different categories require a separate contribution.

Visual Arts
Drawing & Illustration
Mediums: Pencil, ink, charcoal, pastel, crayon, marker, etc.
Note: AI-generated works are not permitted. Works with paint should be submitted under Painting.
Painting
Mediums: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, tempera, spray paint
Note: AI-generated works are not permitted.
3D Art
Mediums: Sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, installation
Note: Submit one image. Additional images may be requested.
Digital Art
Mediums: Digital collage, CGI, VR-based work, digital painting
Note: AI-generated works are not permitted. Include the software used.
Photography
Mediums: Analog, digital, experimental
Note: Images with heavy manipulation should be submitted under Digital Art.
Music:
Battle of the Bands
Submit one original performance (video or audio). All members must be eligible high school students.
Singer-Songwriter
Submit one original song (audio or video). Lyrics must be the student’s original work. Acoustic or produced tracks accepted.
DJ / Electronic Music
Submit one original track, remix, or live mix (video or audio). Students are encouraged to showcase creativity, originality, and mixing or production skills.
Fashion & Wearable Art
Mediums: Apparel, textiles, wearable art, accessories
Note: Submissions may include sketches, digital illustrations, or photographs of completed designs. Optional short video presentations (up to 1 minute, MP4) are accepted. Students should describe inspiration, materials, and process in the “About Your Work” section.
Film & Video Shorts
Mediums: Short film, animation, performance reel, experimental video
Note: Submissions must be MP4 format, maximum file size 100 MB, recommended length up to 2 minutes. Students should describe the concept, inspiration, and techniques used in the “About Your Work” section.
Exhibition Opportunity:
Selected finalists will be featured in the SACSN High School Art Awards Online Exhibition, launching March 30, 2026. This immersive virtual gallery is accessible worldwide and showcases student work and performances in an interactive setting.
