Meet the Selection Committee Chair
Frank Torre
Mr. Torre, a Freshman All-American at the University of New Orleans and a Pittsburgh Pirates draft pick, currently serves as the Head Coach at Indian River State College. His father, Frank Torre Sr., was a World Series champion with the Milwaukee Braves in 1957, and his uncle, Joe Torre, is a Hall of Famer, a four-time World Series champion as manager of the New York Yankees, and the former Chief Baseball Officer of Major League Baseball. The Torre family carries a proud legacy of over 60 years in professional baseball, marked by a deep commitment to giving back to the community.

SACSN Announces 14th Annual National Leadership Awards for Baseball
Palm Beach, Florida – The Student Athlete Community Service Network, Inc. (SACSN) proudly announces the 14th Annual National Leadership Awards for Baseball, celebrating exceptional student-athletes who demonstrate leadership on the field, in the classroom, and within their communities.
Since its inception, this prestigious award has recognized many athletes who have gone on to play at the collegiate level and in Major League Baseball. Past honorees include notable names such as Dylan Crews, Tristan McKenzie, Ke'Bryan Hayes, and Nick Madrigal. In total, SACSN award winners have accounted for more than 25 first-round MLB draft selections and over 180 overall draft picks.
The SACSN National Leadership Awards continue to highlight the next generation of baseball talent while reinforcing the importance of academic achievement and community service.
